BLUES AND BBQ TO BENEFIT HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Are you ready for some amazing Blues music and great Eats?  This year there will be over 16 amazing blues bands playing continuous music on three stages, delectable food, and a good time to be had by people of all ages!  Also there is over 70 vendors scheduled to be there featuring great Colorado products and organizations!


What began as a small Blues and BBQ dinner in the D-Note 14 years ago, has now grown to be the longest running street festival and fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of Denver.  Each year fun loving people from throughout the region gather together in Olde Town Arvada to enjoy some great blues music, good food, and to help raise money for Habitat for Humanity.


Since their beginning 14 years ago, this organization has donated tens of thousands of dollars to Habitat who uses the funds to build homes for families in need.  In case you don't know about Habitat for Humanity, here is a bit of general information on this wonderful organization. 


Habitat for Humanity helps families get out of crowded, overpriced, or substandard housing and into a stable, financially manageable home that they help build themselves. Habitat for Humanity helps teach self sustaining habits to the recipients of these homes and helps them be able to manage their lives with some great lessons in life and giving and friendship.
